Hey everyone!

I had a quick question or two.

My dad made a comment about how dogs should not be put in sweaters and coats because it takes away their ability to adapt to the environment and grow a winter coat. I tried to explain how yorkies don't grow an undercoat, and that i thought maybe they were just bred that way, for showing and leisure or something like that. He wanted to argue so i let it drop, but i wanted to ask for sure, they can't adapt to the outside like other dogs can they? I've read about hypothermia and overheating. It says they have hair like humans do which doesn't provide warmth. I'm doing the winter coat and rain coat thing anyways, cause the books say she'll need it, but i had to have that backup from you YTers!!

Also: Does anyone know a good place to get cute winter coats and raincoats for my pup?
