We have an African Grey that can go through toys quite quickly. I would pay $18 for a toy that she could destroy in 1 day so now I make a lot of her toys. I go to a craft store and buy unpainted hard wood spools, beads, sticks etc. I also buy big plastic beads and anything else I think a parrot would find interesting. I string everything together with rawhide and it is ready to hang. I save a lot of money just making her toys and she likes them just as much as store bought.
