Actually yes...they want a puppy. This is their first dog together and they would like to start out with a pup. My daughter watches my granddaughter when my oldest daughter has to work so she would like the puppy to grow up with small children...although I do agree with rescuing you never know how the dog was brought up and how they will react to other animals and children. My daughter also has a cat that she just got declawed so she wouldn't be able to defend herself if need be....Thanks for the suggestion Jeannie!
