Welcome to you and Chloe! I know you will enjoy learning and sharing here! You have already gotten an answer about the "floating knee." You can do a google search to learn about Luxating Patella -- but remember as Mardelin said, many puppies have a little looseness at first. It may tighten up and never present a problem. But you want to keep an eye on it and maybe take a little extra care at not letting her jump up and down from furniture. A step stool, ramp, or those little stairs can save a lot of wear and tear on knees and backs.
As for going back to work -- I agree with getting an x-pen or one of the plastic play yards (that is what I have). That helps keep them safe as well as giving them a better sense of security. If they have the run of the house, they feel they have to protect the whole house. They are also more inclined to make messes if they have more room to get away from the mess. She will probably adapt okay to her time away from you and will undoubtedly greet you daily like she never thought she would see you again. They definately make a homecoming warm! Make sure she has some safe toys, a good supply of food and water, her bed with a blanket for nesting, a pee pad or two for business and she should be fine in her xpen or play yard. Some even close them in a small room like a laundry area or kitchen. I would not give the run of the house until she is completely house trained and comfortable being left alone.
If she does have problems being left alone, there is always doggy daycare.
