Are you sure he is marking? Three months is pretty young to be marking. You can tell they are marking because they lift their leg to pee.
Neutering a pretty fast recovery. Since there is anesthesia and stitches involved, though, it would be great if you could either take a few days off or have it done on A Friday if you don't work weekends.
