I have to agree with everyone else too. I lived in a "no pet" place and hid my cat and it was tough and stressful (we also ended up adding 3 lizards, 3 gheckos, 4 turtles, a tortiose and a 100 gal fish tank to the mix.) Wow, we would have been kicked out on the spot. Then we moved into a great place that didn't charge us pet fees every month, just an extra $200 deposit. Is it an option for you to move? Maybe you could ask her what animals are allowed? Most people would let you keep fish, which is better than nothing. Or maybe you can volunteer your time at a local shelter or see if you can find a local yorkie rescue group to help out. Many people find helping others and pets to be great theropy. Try to explore your other options. Good luck in whatever you choose.
