Jack is 2 years old and I've noticed recently that he'll pick up his right hind leg when he gets really excited. For example we'll be playing and he'll run really fast and all of a sudden limp for a sec and then is fine in 5 sec. He's done this about 5 times in about two weeks and has never done it prior. I've read about Luxating Patella on here and now I’m starting to worry. He does jump on and off our bed a lot. I've been thinking of getting him steps so that he can prance on our bed a bit more smoothly. What were some of the symptoms your dogs showed with “Luxating Patella”? Does it require surgery? Ah I’m so worried after reading some of these posts!
