When Lillie slept in the crate (it is all wire) I covered 3 sides and the top with an old blanket. I left the front uncovered...kinda makes them feel they are sleeping in a little cave ...I made a very fluffy pillow to go on the bottom...Lillie used to love going into her "bed"...until my DH started putting her in bed with him before I went to bed...Now she...AND Sadie both sleep with us...good thing we have a big bed!
