I found a great groomer , and only take my Suzi to Ryan all the time. Now that I have anther baby, she will also go to him, when she is older. It is important to build a trust with the groomer, and know that your baby is in good hands. Do not settle for less. The first time , stay there. Most groomers don't like it, because it can make the dog upset, however, you can hide , so your pup can't see you. It's important to watch a groomer beforehand, to see how he or she handles the dogs , and see if you like how the groomer does with the animals. The patience, and handeling , and not leaving the dogs at the table alone.
Take the time to observe , then try and choose a good groomer to go to. It is not about the money , it's more about how well the groomer handles the dogs in their care, and how well the groomer, takes care of the dogs, and grooms , and has a professional attitude is the most important thing IMO.
