I think it depends on the dog. Cali loved her doggy playpen and when I would say I was going to Nana's she would run in there. Once she was trained she wasn't crated. Pixie hated the crate and I never could get her in one. She was 13 months when I got her so I let her be in my bedroom with papers down. Roxie was fine in the crate. I still have it in my room with the side opened an she goes in there all the time to nap. I just kept a comfy bed in there and put a safe toy with them. Try and make him excited to go in
and give him a treat. |
