My yorkie (just bought 6-30-09) is not using the pee pads. I got them about 4 days ago before that when I first had her I did not have any? Does that cause a problem?
She still urinates on the rug as of now. When I catch her in the act I immediatley put her on the pad. By then she does not urinate anymore. Should I give her a treat after I put her on their even if she's not urinating anymore?
I have pee pads set in 4 different locations is this ok?

In conclusion, how do I get her to stop using the rug but use the pee pad correctly?

PS
If I bring her to another home on vacation will this confuse her?
