  That is a great idea!! The furkids have about 4 full toy boxes full of toys. In the past I have always washed them all the same day. I think next time I will rotate them so they will always have atleast one toy box full of clean toys. 
I just use the same stuff we wash our clothes in for their toys. Then I stick them in the dryer and they come out looking great every time. 
I have never had a squeaker get ruined by washing it and drying it.
