Default Worried about young kids with yorkie

Hello!

I'm new to yorkie talk, so Im not quite sure if this is the right category for posting this. This forum seems really helpful!
I just got a 3 month old yorkie puppy yesterday. He's so sweet! He loves to play with everything he sees!

But sadly, its living in my grandparents' house because the bought him for me. Thing is, is that my little cousins are there all the time, and they are very violent, with all their war games and such. They will not let the poor dog rest. I mean, they get so excited with the dog, and they chase it, tease it with its toys, and the dog will not get any resting time. Its hard to get the young kids to behave, because every time someone corrects their behavior, their mom stands up for them, and gets super angry at whoever corrected them. I'm afraid that they might try to carry it, and drop it, or maybe when they get upset at the dog they might try to hurt him! Yorkies are very fragile~ There are just so many kids that the yorkie gets overwhelmed!

I could always leave the dog at my house, but I have school during the day, and my mom works. The house is empty from 8:00 in the 4:00 in the afternoon, and Ive heard its awful to leave yorkies alone for such a long time! Leaving him at my grandparents is the only solution. I have no idea what to do with my baby!
Please help!

Thanks soo much for help!!
