what if they oppose me having a pup in their house???
I would say that you should respect what others feel about pets in their homes. For the longest time, I wouldn't allow any pets in my house - mainly due to my allergies (I'm allergic to a lot of outdoor things & dogs would bring it in on their hair & make me siick). Now that I have 2 yorkies, I am a little more relaxed about other pets coming into our home (although I still don't let "outdoor" dogs come in because they shed and are usually stinky!). My in-laws let their dog in one spot of their house, but he's an outdoor dog most of the time. My babies get to go wherever they want at their house now, but they're always within my eyesight. Remember to bring carpet cleaner & a rag when you're visiting others just in case there is an accident! If your parents don't let your little one in their house, maybe see if they will let the puppy stay in their garage, basement, or bathroom in its kennel or something while you're there? I would guess that if they know your baby is a little thing that is clean and doesn't shed, they will warm up to the idea of letting it be in their house. Good luck!!
