I agree with the above posts that say to use some alcohol on a cotton ball and swipe the part of the inside of the ear that you can get to without hurting your little one. The alcohol will drip down into the ear that you can't get to and dry up what is down in there. If after you've done that, your little one still shakes and scratches, I'd take him to the vet and ask for them to check around. Depending on what the groomer used to pull the hair out, they could have actually pulled the skin off down in there or there could be mites that are starting down deep in the ear, could be dealing with an inner ear infection due to soap residue that was left in the ear too. Who knows? That's what I'd do if it were my furbaby.
