I'm having a hard time coming up with the right things to say in order to tell my parents we're getting a new yorkie puppy. I know my mom will have a cow, even though i'm married and have my own home, i'm afraid she will be upset at us because everyone thinks we don't have the money, but in all actuality we make a lot more than the small town environment that i came from and grew up in. They all still look at me like i'm poor like they all are, but we're doing fine and have plenty saved up and ready for this puppy. Plus, most of her stuff we got from my aunt and also we have a plan for her vet/spaying fees from Pet Smart. We're really ready for her, responsible, and it's not costing us much at all.

So, how do I tell my money tight mommy that we're making this decision.


P.S. my granny reacted a little negative towards this at first, but i talked her into being accepting of my choices. (she's the one i always tell everything to)
