Before I knew better, I let the vet give Asha all her shots at the same time, which included rabies, at 4 mo old. Within hours, she was withdrawn, and screamed when you touched her. Luckily Benadryl and a baby aspirin brought her back to her old self within a day. Needless to say, we did not return to that vet. I felt if he did not know any better than do that, we needed someone who knew more. Luckily, we now have a wonderful holistic vet, who agrees with giving only one shot at a time, and respects drawing titers instead of insisting on unnecessary vaccines.
