I use "potty" for both, but I think to Thor it just means "pee". I feel like during potty training, stealth pees are a big problem, not poops. The dog actually has to squat for pooping, and usually does it on a regular schedule, so it's easier to catch him and move him if he's in the wrong area.

Then again, I use potty pads, so getting him to poop right away is not an issue for me. If I tell him to "potty", it's usually that I want him to empty himself out before he plays so he's not tempted to mark.
