I've actually been told that they don't eat it to throw up but because it tastes good to them. If they eat too much or have sensitive stomachs it can make them throw up. I don't know if thats 100% accurate but it's what i've been told.

My Jack russel eats it ALL the time. It's annoying but she rarely gets sick from it.
