I have a cute story about our balcony. We live on the fourth floor, but there is no way they could jump off the balcony as it was built with brick and is quite high.

The doggies couldn't see anything beyond the balcony from their height and Cash didn't like going out there at first. One day, I just clicked that he couldn't see the view and I picked him up and let him sit with me.

Hehe, now every time I sit on the balcony, I have to have both of them on my lap so they can enjoy the view!
