How much does he weigh? if he is really tiny they may just do the one and have you come back in a day or two to get the other shot. We used to do that all the time with the smaller breeds that would come in. Vaccine reactions usually occur within 30 min after getting the vaccine. sometimes if they have a reaction, they will pre treat before giving shots again, usually with benedryll and a steriod. good luck
