I switched Fiona to adult food when she turned 11 months old. you can probably start at 10 months old...but you should do it in a three day grace period---add the new kibble into the old kibble...day 1 put maybe 3-4 pieces in with it, then as the days progress give a little more, until you ween them off the puppy food.
