That is correct, the Biewer standard requires that they have the full tail (and must have a white tip). I personally love the full tails!

I agree in that most breeders probably would not have a problem not docking the tail for you, but it does mean picking the pup out early. Of course, there are some breeders out there that do not dock despite the standard. If you are able to find a breeder that you trust with this practice, it will give you a chance to see the puppy's personality to make sure they are a good fit for your family.
