Just remember that anyone can be nice over the phone. Until you see what conditions this puppy has been in, you're going in blind. Trust me, I have learned from experience and spent lots of money on a sick puppy that came home to me too young. I did what you were thinking about doing, and I tell you one thing, after almost loosing Ellie, I would never put myself in that position again, and hope to stop anyone who might end up in that position.
I hope that you seriously reconsider this breeder unless she lets the puppy stay and you go and see the conditions yourself. Please use extreme caution. These little ones are so easy to get attached to and I would hate to see something happen especially since you said that you don't have a lot of money to put into a dog. What happens if it is sick after you bring her home? What's in her contract about guarantees? What happens if it's a weekend and you have to go to an ER Vet like I did? That's very expensive. |
