Ok, so I don't have any GOOD advise.

But this is what I can tell you. I have a 5 year old yorkie who barks at EVERYTHING!! it is so anoying. We'll have a nap on the couch, and the second we fall asleep he's barkin' at ....something (or nothing). If we go for walks, people want to come up and pet him because he's so little, and he just go's crazy!! He barks at squirrels, cat's, dogs, people.....wind......

Anyways, so we have tried a ton of different things. All have been successful for a bit but then he gets used to what ever it is, and we're back to square one. Heres my suggestions:

- Spray him with a spray bottle with water set on the "mist" setting
- Spray him with a spray bottle with water set on the "stream" setting
- Shake an empty soup can with 2 or 3 coins in it.
- Smack your hand or the floor loudly with an empty kleenex box
( boyfriends idea)
- Gently pet him and ask my nicely to please shut up
- Put him in a kennel for a "time-out"

Now that I'm looking this list over, I'm thinkin' "no wonder he doesn't stop barking, those idea's are Dumb!!"

Oh well, that's the best I got....
