 Twist to the story...
Ok, so much has happened in the last 3 days. But to make a long story short-ish...
The previous owner finally contacted me with the vet information (literally texted me while I was on the phone waiting to speak to someone at the airline to change my flight). I called and got records faxed to me and after a conversation withe the previous owner (she was very apologetic) decided to continue with a leap of faith and fly up there yesterday. LOL- I woke up needing to make a 2.5 hr drive to airport to find my car battery had died!!! Luckily DH got it started adn let me take his truck to the airport- I barely made the flight. I got my new little guy and we had a safe flight/drive home. We took Bella and our new guy (DH wants to rename him) for a long walk last night and then brought them inside. They seem to love each other already, but I'm still going to separate them while I am at work till I can observe them a bit more. He's very cute- needs to gain a bit of weight and due for a trip to the groomers, but so so sweet. I'll add a picture later today- it's just crazy around here with the 2 of them running and playing. |
