Yup, that's exactly what I was thinking! Really try not to give in to the whining. Unless you know they are whining b/c they NEED something, but if they just WANT something, ignore them, and they will soon learn that they won't get whatever they want whenever they want.

Uni whines all the time when she wants attention, wants to play, wants to go outside, but if it's not time for that, she doesn't get it. She knows this and after a bit of whining, she quits and goes in the corner to pout.
