I had the same problem with my two dogs. They refused to eat it and hated it.
I found Breeder's Choice - Pinnacle Duck & Potato Formula.. they LOVE IT!!!
THe color and texure seems to be similar to the old Natural Balance formula, but I think Pinnacle's Formula might be better its all organic.
