Lord, Boodah hikes that leg at least 3 or 4 times when we are on a walk. All males do that (reserve urine) for the sole purpose of marking their territory. Oh, and if a stray male ventures on to our property Boodah isn't happy till he's covered every bush and blade of grass with at least one drop of pee. Sometimes takes him several days while walking to get "that other dog" smell covered up. I swear it's like he's on a mission. Wants out constantly, pees, comes in, drinks more water, barks to go out.........drives me nuts.
