Susan and Little Bit were spayed this morning and they're spending the night at the hospital. We pick them up in the morning. We miss them SO much. I took my mother to a whole bunch of doctors' appointments today and took her out to lunch because tomorrow is her birthday (and tomorrow we're not doing ANYTHING but sitting with our babies!) and all we talked about was how sweet Susan and Little Bit and now cute and funny and how much we miss them. Mom has another dog at her house, but my house seems pretty empty. At least my husband is home!

Apparently we called a bit much today. I called the vet again a little before 5:00 and I could hear the chuckle in the girl's voice when she got back from checking on the babies. It turns out my mom and just called and checked on them and forgotten to call me to let me know. But apparently they're fine. I had a liver and kidney function test done, so I guess I'll know the results of that tomorrow. Mom elected not to, but I was concerned because Susan was SO quiet when I first got her. I was worried that she was sick. She may have been, though I don't think so. She's much more active now.
