To keep urine from staining the coat, I use The Stuff. It's a conditioning/barrier spray that repells urine stains. Mimi has a very light coat color on her bum area & her hair is long, so I've been using this for 2 weeks now & it works great! I do wash her hiney every other day & spray some Stuff on her & brush it out. The 'yellowing' has disappeared.
