If you don't get him neutered, you will probably just have to live with his marking. Belly bands are usually part of owning a stud dog.
I hate to tell you, but it will probably get worse as he gets older, especially if he is used as a stud. Being bred can trigger all sorts of objectionable sexual related behaviors. These personality changes should be factored into any decision to breed. A neutered dog makes a much better pet.
