Same with Baxter! My boyfriend, I think, gets a little offended when Baxter follows me everywhere and whines if I leave the room. When my boyfriend and Baxter stay in the car while I run inside for something, Baxter will have to watch me the whole time!
But anways, Baxter is nine months old and he usuall doesn't whine much, but he does bark when he wants something. Not sure if the whining will be something he grows out of though, especially if he is already one years old.
