We once thought one of our large dogs ate mouse poison. We weren't sure but we weren't taking any chances. They give a big dose of vitamin K as the antidote. I don't know about insecticide.

I think in a pinch I'd call the poison control number on the package. I don't know about your area but I don't think there is a 24 hour vet around here.
