The cost of neutering a cryptorchid will vary depending on what area of the country you live in. It is more expensive than a standard neuter because they have to go into the abdomen to retrieve the other testicle.

You really have no choice, though. As the others have pointed out, the undescended testicle can twist on its stalk, cutting off the blood supply or it can become cancerous.

If he is marking, neutering may or may not help.
