Jack has been eating dog food by "Solid Gold" since he was old enough to eat solid dog food, he's now 2 years old. This was a brand that our breeder swore by. Another woman who owns a pet store told me a miracle story and how the dog started to loose fur so the vet suggested solid gold and lord and behold the dogs hair started growing again. Yet despite everyone's claim on how great this line is Jack seems to be really picky. He's always been a picky eater. He will go all day with only taking a few bites here and there in hopes of getting a treat or something other then Solid Gold.
I have tried mixing just a bit of avocado with his food sometimes and he tends to eat it up. Just wondering if anyone has had the same reaction with Solid Gold or any other type of brand. I've mixed a little bit of "Cesar canine cuisine" with his dog food but that was only on his B-Day as a treat. I'm just not sure if that stuff is ok to give to Jack on a regular basis. If so, how often do you give your yorkies "Cesar canine cuisine"? At this point any suggestions would be greatly appreciated for one picky yorkie!
