Sorry to hear that she has liver shunt...there are two yahoo support groups out there for dogs with liver shunts... I would join one if I was you... they have a ton of information....
I am currenlty fostering a maltese with liver shunt and she is having surgery next week....
if there is a shunt and it can be fixed I would reccomend having the shunt fixed...
