Chloe's test results came back today and she does have a liver shunt. The doctor said her levels are really high. She didn't give me the numbers but she sent her some new food, Hills prescription diet l/d and some medicine called lactulose. Does this seem to be a good start to treat the problem that she has? She is making her an appointment with a specialist at U/T for possible surgery. Is there anything else that can treat this without surgery?
Any help would be appreciated.
