 New Puppy Weight
Hi: I ama new Yorkie owner and just love my little guy. He is 3 months old today. He has taken over our home and our hearts. I got him at 9 weeks and he weighed 5.0 when he went to the vets for a check up. He was hand fed as the Mom couldn't feed the pups. He is wild, healthy and the doctor said perfect. He eats only 3/4 c. of puppy chow a day (divided into 4 meals) He runs all the time and is very active. I can't believe he will mature to 6.5-7# like his parents. I think he is a giant Yorkie.
He is also impossible to potty train. Does his business outside every time we go out then comes in and does it again in the house???? Just a baby so I have lots of patience but will this get better? PattyO |
