So Sam went to the groomer last week since he was starting to get a little bit shaggy and we wanted a trim for him. We told the groomer we just wanted a trim and then picked the length from this little sample fur thing (which btw uses fur the consistency of bear fur! Sam's fur is so silky and smooth that the middle length of bear fur would leave him naked!). When we came back to pick him up...he was BALD!!!!!!!! And he'd completely changed colour since all his black puppy fur was off and he's now officially silver and tan. Here is the end result (Sam was being a bum and wouldnt get up for pictures):

(also, he's now 9 lbs! at 4.5 months annnd look at the sweet doggie couch I got for only $30 at Costco! )

He is cute that way but I know how you feel. I was very discouraged when I got Harley cut...I wasn't expecting his color to completely change. The silver just made him look old. The shorter cut is much easier to take care of but I never got use to it. I'm letting his grow back out some now.
