I've only been once myself, and that was to Petsmart. I took a photo of how I wanted Bernie's hair cut, there wasn't a book to look through. I would definitely find a photo of how I would like the cut and take that with me. And you could also try to get a recommendation from someone in your area as to who they think may do a good yorkie cut. There are a zillion ways to cut!Take proof of the rabies shot with you and you'll be good to go whenever you are ready.
