Is that a standard test that is done at the 20 week mark, My mother took her in a few times to the vet while i was away on work. So perhaps they already did it. I will be sure to ask next time shes in for a checkup.

No, you would have to request a BAT. It wouldn't be done automatically. In fact, most general practice vets aren't that knowledgeable about liver disease and don't even know to suggest it.
