I am hoping that someone here can help me, especially when it comes to genetics.
I was contacted by someone that has a puppy from my same breeder. Her puppy and my Brody share the same father (not from the same litter). I am so thankful this person contacted me to give me a heads up
but I am a little worried.
Her puppy seems to be having kidney issues and won't know for sure until tests are done tomm. My Brody went in for his neutuer and the vet never said anything about his lab work. I mentioned to my vet the new information I had and she was going to do some research as to the genetics and have some blood work done on Brody today at 2 PM (just to make sure).
The vet did tell me that the breeder should have DNA or Kidney biopsy done on the father to rule out everything. I have tried to contact the breeder but I am assuming she is on vacation or very busy.
Meanwhile I am sitting here desperately waiting for 2PM and praying that my Brody is OK. He is not exhibiting any symptoms but from what I've read online they sometimes don't show any symptoms. Please pray for my Brody and if you have any information please let me know.
