Myah hasn't had reactions to shots, but still gets a shot of Benedryl before hand. I also have her shots broke up so that she doesn't get them all at once.
My Bichon, has reactions to all shots and has go have some lumps removed where she reacted to the shots. They were just small lumps and we thought they were scar tissue because they are right where she has gotten other shots. Now they are one big mass, and look like sebacious cysts, so we'll have it removed and tested to make sure it isn't anything serious.
I think if it was up to me....they wouldn't get any shots, but since we travel out of the country, we have to get them.
