because people don't bother to research breeds and know what they are doing when they are buying a dog. they buy something because its cute. i personally think it should be illegal to purposely cross-breed dogs for money when there are so many cute muts that need rescued. just my opinion. i would encourage you, as a yorkie lover, not to encourage this practice either by buying one. it degrades our beautiful breed to insinuate something could make it better by cross-breeding.
