I don't need you to justify what you did at all. I am still so sad that ANY "pet" lover would suggest to give up to a rescue is beyond all the things that I preach in rescue. You got a PET and took care of him as best you could. He is not dead..**thank god** and you took him to the vet and had him treated. Sometimes, when you really have to make a hard decision like that, you just do what you have to. I am very glad that you and Moses are great!! From one tri-pod owner to another....some just never understand. They are totally fine.

And I am not sure if I will ever get over the bad taste in my mouth from some.

Our prayers are still with you and the boy!!
