There is really no such thing as too much protein unless your dog has a liver issue. Layla's diet is like 60-70% protein and she is doing great.

Dogs are carnivores so their bodies are designed to digest high amounts of meats, and have no need for grains. Orijen has GREAT kibbles IMO.
