Cotton balls are okay if you don't want to use q-tips. I personally can't stand using them because you are just getting the very surface. A lot of vets will tell you not to use q-tips, so it is important to find out if it's okay with Layla's vet. I do use q-tips but there is a certain way you have to hold the ear back so it doesn't go down too deep.

and i don't want to go way IN her ear- just those weird crevasses- that's where I see it
