People don't understand that this is a family member that's been with you for a long time. Some don't treat their pets as family. It's also hard to know what to say to help you cope with the loss. There's really nothing anyone can say to make us feel better, we just go on without. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my Dad.
Just make him feel special, that's all you can do for him. You have friends here that understand and will help you through when the time comes. |
