Tatum has a "flea allergy" also. We fight fleas constantly in our hot area. My dogs are now on Sentinel and Comfortis because of how bad they are around here. Tatum is 5 years old now but it wasn't until about a year ago that this happened. She was itching so much and had red hives all over her. Took her into the vet the next day (gave Benadryl that night to get her through it) and he found one little bitty flea on her. He told us that one little flea bite will set her off with the itching. That's when we added the Comfortis to her monthly regimen and she's been great since then. She does still get bit occasionally though and will itch a bit but he gave us some pills to give her for a couple days and the itch will go away.

Good luck with yours!
